Sharm el Sheikh
The Nabq Protected Area or Nabq National Park is located roughly 35 kilometers to the north of Sharm El Sheikh, in the South Sinai Governorate. Sharm el Sheikh is by far and away southern Sinai’s best-known and most frequently visited resort town, followed by Naama Bay. Both of these places are incredibly popular Sinai tourist destinations.
However, very few of those tourists are aware of the fact that one of Egypt’s most spectacularly beautiful areas is just a short drive away.
Covering an area of around 600 square kilometers, the Nabq Protected Area is considered to be one of the most strikingly beautiful national parks in all of Egypt, and maybe even in the entire world. The unspoiled natural beauty of this area is simply incredible.
Nabq Protected Area is one of the lesser-known Sinai Tourists Attractions, but for how long, remains to be seen. It is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, some of which are not found anywhere else on Earth, and the beauty doesn’t end there either.
